Saturday Night Fever

Someone mentioned to me that word was going around that the Bozo Lounge conference was open at night and people were discouraged from listening to the overnight stores.

In order to quell this talk I went in to the studio at WLW late Friday night. Old Sarge was also going to visit Bubba Bo on Saturday night.

Talking with some of the other people who were passing through town resulted in a small crowd gathered in front of the WLW studios Saturday as Ol' Sarge, Chia Pet, Midnight Express, and myself waited for Bubba Bo to come to work. I had arranged with Sarge to go and surprise Bozo with a visit on Sunday Afternoon.

As we were waiting for Bubba Bo, my cell phone rang and I saw it was Dale. I talked to him for a few minutes about my day Saturday ( oil change truck wash etc,) and then handed the phone to Ol' Sarge who was glad to have a talk with Bozo.

I heard Sarge explain to Dale that we were waiting to go in and visit with Bubba BO, and then I heard him say “Lumpy is right Dale, you should come over and visit if you have time.” The smile that broke out on his face was enough, I knew Lumpy was urging Dale to come out and visit with us, and sure enough he did.

The result was what you heard on Bubba Bo's show Saturday night. A visit from The Truckin Bozo to his old venue at WLW overnight. Wow what fun. If you missed the show live you should download the podcasts from the 700wlw.com on demand page at:
