Bozo!

As I write this note, Lumpy is on her computer and we are looking at moving further south in Florida. The weather is not the cause but the man who has developed the community we now live in has announced that the monthly homeowner fees are going to increase. I pay over a thousand a year for Social Membership in his country club, almost five hundred bucks every quarter to the association that represents our neighborhood and a couple of hundred bucks each month to the Home Owners Association that encompasses the entire community. Tag almost five thousand dollars a year onto that in taxes and our dream home is turning into a nightmare so we’re going to find a neighborhood that doesn’t have a home owners association.

We went to http://www.floridamoves.com” and one of my listeners told me that he had bought a house that was appraised at two hundred and fifty thousand dollars and he bought it for less than eighty thousand dollars. There are deals like this all over the country, all you have to do is look. I figured, what the hell. My present home in Florida is paid for and I owe on the condo in Cincinnati but the nice thing is if I bought another home in Florida I wouldn’t have to be paying two mortgages until my present home sells. I figure that I could lease it out for almost two thousand dollars a month and let that money pay for my new home, if we move.
